#BREAKINGNEWS : Brazilian Modern Metal Titans RECKONING HOUR Drop Electrifying Third Album ‘Mantra’
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL — After more than a decade of pushing boundaries in the heavy music scene, Brazilian modern metal titans Reckoning Hour have officially released their highly anticipated third studio album, Mantra.
Featuring ten powerful tracks, Mantra effortlessly fuses the raw intensity of metalcore with intricate melodies, expansive synth atmospheres, progressive arrangements, and sweeping orchestrations. The record marks a major artistic evolution for the Rio de Janeiro-based group, expanding their Sonic signature into dynamic new territory.
A Journey of Reconstruction and Growth
The road to Mantra was forged through resilience. Following the release of their 2020 record Beyond Conviction (via Seek & Strike Records), the global pandemic disrupted the band's momentum and forced a two-year hiatus from live performances. These years of internal shifts, personal growth, and transformation deeply shaped the thematic core of the new album.
Mantra delves into deep themes of personal identity, choices, guilt, relationships, and human perception—presenting an unfiltered sonic snapshot of who Reckoning Hour are in 2026.
"For me, Mantra represents reconstruction. It’s a record that was born after a period of many changes, pauses and transformations... I wanted Mantra to show a more mature, more conscious, and musically freer band. It’s probably the work that best represents Reckoning Hour today." — Philip Leander (Guitarist & Producer)
